Following the COVID19 health emergency, we further implemented the sanitation procedures by carrying out:
- DAILY sanitization of all surfaces by means of alcohol-based products with high concentration or sodium hypochlorite based on the surface to be treated
- airing of all rooms at regular daily intervals
- cleaning of all air conditioning filters, using appropriate sanitizing products
In addition to this, we decided, precisely to better protect our customers and workers, to carry out DAILY disinfection of the environments through OZONE, one of the most powerful natural disinfectants.

Our structure has decided to equip itself with state-of-the-art equipment and to insert meticulous procedures, such as DAILY SANITIZATION THROUGH OZONE, so that all the rooms of Pompei Fauno are completely sanitized at each CHECK IN.
How does ozone treatment work?
Every day in the rooms and throughout the structure, once the cleaning procedures are finished, we meticulously carry out all the sanitization procedures.
We also carry out daily and before each CHECK IN, also sanitizing the environment by means of OZONE, so as to eliminate any residual contaminant element from the air, surfaces, air conditioning filters, etc.
This is possible because we have equipped each room with its own OZONATOR, in order to achieve the ozone saturation in the environment necessary for the sterilization of the entire chamber in less than 30 minutes.

WHAT IS OZONE?
Ozone is a highly unstable natural gas, composed of trivalent oxygen (O3) with a great oxidizing power. In nature it is formed thanks to electrical discharges during thunderstorms or thanks to the action of ultraviolet sunlight.
OZONE PROPERTIES
The possibility of using ozone for cleaning and sanitizing objects and environments derives from its high oxidizing power. Ozone is in fact capable of degrading and eliminating any polluting or harmful element such as viruses, mites, insects, spores, molds, harmful chemicals and even smoke and odors, all in a totally natural way.
Being an unstable gas, a few minutes after use, the ozone is transformed into oxygen, without leaving any trace or chemical residues.
HOW DOES IT WORK
As soon as ozone comes into contact with an organic matter, an oxidation reaction is triggered. Basically all living microorganisms are killed, such as mites, bacteria, viruses, molds and fungi.
Since ozone is a gas heavier than air, it can penetrate the fibers of the fabrics (mattresses, sofas, armchairs, rugs, carpets, etc.).
